The Captain said…

what happened to the 46th ask Josh? Seems like you’re too eager to get to your celery celebration.

Dear Captain,

The 46th Ask Josh manuscript has been lost forever. It is not, nor ever will be, accessible to the public. You never need worry about that. There’ll be another 46th out there. There are plenty of 46ths in the sea.

I really would feel uncomfortable publishing an Ask Josh post associated with the number 46.  Here are some reasons why:

The Greek historian, Plutarch, was born in the year 46.

Here are a few things Plutarch said, in the spirit of his quotes I will not make opinions on them, nor will I make known those opinions:

“He is a fool who leaves things close at hand to follow what is out of reach.” Morals, On Garrulity

“It is wise to be silent when occasion requires, and better than to speak, though never so well.” Morals. On Training of Children

“When the candles are out all women are fair.” Morals. Conjugal Precepts.

“To err in opinion, though it be not the part of wise men, is at least human.” Morals. Against Colotes.
